Advisory Board

Composition

The Advisory Board shall be composed of local, national and internationally recognized individuals who share the goals and objectives of FARE and who are prepared to offer advice and direction to the organization through the steering committee.

Terms of Reference

The Advisory Board will provide guidance and comment on major policy initiatives of FARE. The Advisory Board will meet at the call of the Chair either in person or electronically. Advisory Board members may from time to time personally support or lead initiatives on behalf of FARE.

Key Result Areas

• To provide FARE with locally, nationally and internationally respected individuals who engender respect, trust and acknowledgement in the local community.
• To advise Steering Committee and Strategy Committee on approaches, strategies and actions to be undertaken by FARE.
• To create and maintain the profile of FARE as being a legitimate, respected community based organization with widely supported goals and objectives working for the betterment of the community and Canada.
