Media Relations Committee

Mandate:

In collaboration with the Board of Directors

• to foster strong working relationships with local, provincial and national news organizations
• to issue press releases on issues of interest to FARE, including but not limited to: - response to information and media releases generated by Cameco, related organizations and governments with regard to the proposed SEU and current operations - FARE meetings - FARE fundraising activities
• to respond to queries from the media about FARE's activities and FARE's position with regard to issues related to FARE's goals and activities
• to select a webmaster for FARE's website and oversee the management of the site with particular regard to accuracy, timeliness and ease of use.
