Our Goal:

To end radioactive pollution in the Port Hope area.

Our Objectives:

  • To conduct, exchange and discuss information, findings and experiences on all subjects and techniques related to radioactive exposure and other related pollutants in Port Hope, Ontario and surrounding area, and
  • To collect, store, and disseminate information and research data about the radioactive exposure in Port Hope and surrounding areas, and
  • To develop and promote linkages with the international community of individuals, foundations and corporations who closely monitor and comment on pollution, nuclear related issues, water quality and health matters related to pollution, and
  • To support a funded series of comprehensive independent health studies of Port Hope residents, which studies are both historical and current, and
  • To promote, support and encourage the educational, scientific, and technological development and advancement of radioactive pollution cleanup methodology that might be applied to Port Hope and the surrounding area, and
  • To gather and disseminate technical and scientific information on enriched uranium and its by-products that are manufactured and utilized in Canada and throughout the world, and
  • To undertake, facilitate and co-ordinate meetings, conferences, seminars, courses, studies and programs to encourage the holding of a Comprehensive Panel Review of the Proposal for the manufacturing of SEU in Port Hope, and
  • To produce programs and materials directly related to the objects herein for presentation, broadcast and distribution on any means of audio, visual, computer, electronic or other forms of communication as may become available from time to time, and
  • To use, apply, give, devote, accumulate or distribute from time to time all or any part of the fund or funds of the Corporation and/or the income therefrom in furtherance of the above objects to or for any recognized community group, corporations and/or educational organization or organizations which in the judgment of the directors of the Corporation will promote the objects of the Corporation.
